Plastering

The lower part of the exterior walls (below the cladding), and all of the interior walls that aren’t brick, should be finished in a white render. That is, the colour is in the render – no paint. To keep it clean, the outside plastering should be done nearer the end of the overall works, once site traffic and winter muck and rain have reduced.
